5000 years ago, a new people arrived in Wales with swords, shields, horses, chariots and a new language, that one day would become Welsh. But these weren’t the Celts of the Iron Age: these were master goldworkers and casters of bronze, and Wales was a land rich in raw materials. Some of the most beautiful gold finds of this period are from Wales and can tell us much about these sun-worshippers who built stone circles and buried their chieftains with glorious jewellery. Come and find out more about the forgotten glories of the first warriors of Wales.
