Hay on Wye's main market day sees over forty traders occupying the square and quaint streets of the world-famous book town.
The market is visited by locals and visitors alike, doing their weekly shop, filling bags with store cupboard staples, seasonal produce, fresh fish, local meats, Welsh cheeses, artisan breads and treats.
There is also takeaway street food and barista coffee, plus a well-established flea market around the Clock Tower and a rotating group of talented makers and craftspeople in the Buttermarket Hall.
