Blue Monday Coffee is a small, independent speciality coffee roaster based in the Welsh countryside of Mid Wales, producing freshly roasted coffee in small batches with a real focus on flavour, quality and experimentation. Created out of a love of great coffee, Blue Monday takes a creative approach to roasting, offering a range of single-origin coffees and carefully developed blends. The slow roasting process helps develop naturally sweet, smooth and full-bodied flavours without the bitterness that can sometimes come with darker roasted coffee. There is a good choice of coffees to discover, from Brazilian, Colombian and Ethiopian origins to distinctive house blends, as well as decaffeinated options. You can buy coffee beans or have them ground to suit your preferred brewing method, and Blue Monday also offers the opportunity to create your own blend according to your taste. During the spring, summer and early autumn months, you can also find Blue Monday Coffee Mobile at Rhiwargor Waterfall Car Park beside Lake Vyrnwy. It is a particularly good stop before or after exploring the spectacular Rhiwargor Waterfall and surrounding countryside. The mobile coffee trailer is powered by batteries and solar energy rather than a noisy generator, helping to keep its environmental impact low in this beautiful location.
