Set among the beautiful forest trails of South Alwen Forest, between Llyn Brenig and Alwen Reservoir in North Wales, this is an opportunity to meet, learn about and experience life with a team of highly trained racing sled dogs. Choose from a range of experiences throughout the year. During the cooler months, the sleddog rides give you the chance to experience the excitement of a six-dog team powering through the forest trails, while Intro to Mushing allows you to learn the basics of dryland mushing and, with expert guidance, take control of your own team. When temperatures are too warm for the dogs to run in harness, Husky Hiking provides another way to experience these remarkable working dogs, with the dogs pulling you along trails through the surrounding Welsh countryside. There are also opportunities to meet the dogs, including puppies, youngsters and retired members of the team. With more than 20 years' experience of training and racing sled dogs in the UK and overseas, Mynydd Sleddog Adventures offers something genuinely different for families, couples, individuals and groups.
